ARCHIE PRICE, pastoral intern

Archie was a southerner lost in the big city. But now he calls this concrete jungle home. He was born and raised in Memphis, TN and knows what real BBQ should taste like. He enjoys being with people and cooking for them. Just ask him and prepare yourself for a feast. Caveat - he doesn't do dishes. Archie has aspired to use his skills and talents in the service of Jesus Christ all his life. After traveling the globe and working in the corporate world, he's recognized a call to vocational ministry while at Queenswest. He loves a good meal, conversation, story and most of all, a good laugh. You might hear his across the room from time to time.

CHRISTINA WANG, qkids pastor

From small town Carmel, NY to Vassar College and on to NYC - Christina thought she was destined for life as an M.D., but all along God was pulling her in a different direction.  After a semester in medical school, becoming a professional nanny, and three months as a short term missionary in Fiji, Christina has come home to her calling as a children's pastor. Apart from working with children, Christina's favorite activity is spending time with her husband John, whom she met at college.  Close on the heels of this are spending time laughing with her girlfriends and having people over for Italian dinners.

ERIC SHEPHERD, director of music

Eric likes margharita pizza, contemporary architectural theory, emergent theology, Plymouth gin, and European trance music. He grew up a suburban boy in Minneapolis, escaped to music college in Seattle, pulled too many all-nighters at architecture school in Buffalo, and now enjoys the energy and chaos of New York City. By day he is a web developer at Condé Nast Digital, and by night he enjoys playing cribbage with his wife Autumn, making his youngest daughter Chloe laugh and trying to convince his oldest daughter Naia that more pink glitter does not equal better design.

JAMES KIM, lead pastor

James is happy when: eating at hole in the wall joints, playing ultimate in Astoria, learning local architecture from his wife Carol. He's a son of Queens having grown up in Sunnyside, Jamaica, and Forest Hills. He did time in Boston at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He buys more books than he can read. He blogs at jamesckim.wordpress.com. He lives in his head but is looking to make it more real in Long Island City where he lives with Carol and daughter Luca.
